Children and young people referred by Social Services for time-limited solution-focused therapy.

Ø  Part time Coordinator Carefree Kids – Leytonstone, London            Oct 2011 to  July 2014

Assessing children referred, managing allocations, service user relations, client relations, supporting therapeutic volunteers and supervisors, managing workloads, record keeping, updating policies and procedures according to new legislation, fundraising, Keeping Trustees and service users up to date with changes etc.

Ø  Supervisor/Trainer Carefree kids – Leytonstone, London                 Sept 2007 to July 2014

Ensure safe and ethical practice is maintained within organisation, support and train new volunteers in therapeutic play work, monitor volunteer’s work on a weekly basis, support volunteers when needed, keep up-to-date records of work each week.

Work therapeutically with children in 1 hour sessions. Keep accurate records of sessions and report back to Supervisor each day.
